I'll suggest that every HS should have the following format:

There is already a subforum for every HS which is a good idea, but my idea is (what we use in TWO) is that there is discussion+rules thread, and a saves thread for each Hotseat. If there is RP, then another one for only that. If somebody doesn't understand what I'm implying, just tell me and I'll post a pic what I mean.

How many replies are on each page, and can it be made so that it jumps to the newest unread?

Its 25, but it can be increased if Im not mistaken. You mean just to the newest unread when you click on the thread?

Halfway down this page (link), there is a set of forum templates that may be installed here. Any preference for one to use, or at least to cater design towards?

Edit: I should note that if you have a preference for the phpbb layout of a forum (which would closer resemble TWC than the current appearance), that is possible to do as well.

We may have a place where we can see last 15-20 posts whereever they are. Something like that on main page would help us a lot to follow whats going on and what is new.
To show example, if you scroll down in this forum (sorry its all Turkish but you can always let google chrome to translate the page) you will see last 15 posts. Where you can go to the thread, main thread and the last post.

Temporary solution at the moment is working on the 'latest topics' feature. If I have the sanity to bother spend the time, I might be able to take that functionality and build a page from it.
